On a beautiful summer’s evening, over 200 homeopaths gathered in the Cotswolds to celebrate the launch of the School of Homeopathy’s new home at Hawkwood College in Stroud.  It was truly international, with guests travelling from America, Japan, the Middle East, Europe and from all over the UK. Hawkwood a 19^th Century manor set in 42 acres of outstanding rolling countryside made the perfect setting for the party and will make a magnificent home for the School. Guests arrived to the sound of a local 10 strong ukulele band from Cheltenham, they were then invited to enjoy the garden and look around the School’s beautiful period rooms. In one there was a spread of Italian food, another was dedicated to the School showing their latest videos and a selection of materials, the next was full of stands from the homeopathic community, the Society of Homeopaths, Helios, Nelsons, Travelling Homeopaths Collective and many more. The wine, ale and cider flowed from the out side bar provided by much loved local pub the Prince Albert and the valley filled with the chit chat of old friends. As the sun cooled hot air balloons floated up the valley at the front of the house. At twilight the main band Ben & Ru from Stroud hit the stage and got the party moving in the main hall of the house. The hall twinkled with lights as guests danced the night away to the sound of banjo, harmonica, guitar and drums. Encore after encore saw the band play until the early hours as the party romped into the night.

Mani Norland, the School’s new Principal, said “we could not have asked for a better launch for the School in its new home, it was a delight to see so many faces from the homeopathic community come together to celebrate and have fun. We really raised the energy and got the School of to a wondrous start, I couldn’t be more pleased”.
