Herbal Medicine Foundation Course Certificate
Assessment is provided through completion of the assignments at the end of each Unit, with high standards of tutor marking. The Herbal Medicine Foundation Course certification is equivalent to NVQ Level 4 and will provide you with a solid foundation should you wish to undertake further study.
To complete the course you have to attain a passing grade in each of the assignments.
If you wish to qualify at Diploma level, rather than Certificate level, then you will be required to complete the Anatomy and Physiology Course as well as the Herbal Medicine Foundation Course, unless you have proof of a completed Anatomy and Physiology Course and you apply for exemption. Requires: Herbal Medicine Foundation Course and Anatomy and Physiology Course.
The School of Health: Herbal Medicine Foundation Certificate
Requires: Herbal Medicine Foundation Course.
If you qualify at Certificate level and then complete our Anatomy and Physiology course at a later date you will be able to upgrade your qualification from certificate to diploma. You will need to pay a small admin fee and will be asked to return your original certificate.
Complementary Medical Association Accredited
Our Herbal Medicine Foundation Course is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and upon graduation you can register with the CMA.
Established in 1993, the CMA is an internationally recognised association. Its primary aim is to promote ethical, responsible, professional complementary medicine to the public and the medical profession. The CMA is the largest register of natural therapists in the UK. Because of their size they represent complementary medicine and natural healthcare at high levels of government, protecting practitioner rights to practice and teach, and ensuring that the profession's collective voice is heard when it comes to policy-making and decisions.
