Sara Dale
Teacher & Tutor
Sara’s first introduction to homeopathy came many years ago when she set off travelling around Asia with a small Helios remedy kit - a little box that became invaluable and sparked a lifelong passion for natural healthcare. Sara’s journey into the world of holistic healthcare properly began after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It was the classic story of the prescribed medication managing the illness but not well enough for there to be much quality of life. After a lot of research into nutrition and alternative medicine, it was homeopathy that really changed things. Sara was so impressed and intrigued that she made the life-changing decision to study to become a homeopath.
Sara works from home and at a clinic in Oxford. She sees people of all ages and enjoys the variety of treating all manner of conditions. Sara teaches at the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in Bristol and is an active member of the Travelling Homeopaths Collective, treating acutes at festivals every summer.
Sara loves being a tutor – what a joy to bring teaching skills gleaned over the years into a homeopathic context. While Sara loves sharing her knowledge and her passion, she also enjoys the learning that teaching brings - preparing lectures, answering questions, discussing philosophy and even just having lunch with students and teachers – you learn so much that enhances your own practice.
Sara’s background in teaching developed out of a love for travel and languages. She became fluent in French and Spanish by way of a degree in Law and Languages. Sara taught in secondary schools for many years but as her interest in natural healthcare grew, she felt drawn to do something different and graduated from the School of Homeopathy in 2020. She then went on to do further training at the Welsh School and subsequently completed the Orion Post Graduate Course at the Contemporary College in Bristol.
Having lived in France, Spain and Peru Sara currently lives in Oxfordshire with her daughter, dog and two cats. She spent much of her adult life living in small communities and feels increasingly drawn to return to that way of living. Sara spent several years working as a leader of walking holidays, and still very much enjoys the outdoors. When not working, she is walking the dog, doing yoga, cooking, gardening or spending time with friends - often several of the above at the same time! Sara also enjoys singing in a natural voice choir, going to festivals and travelling abroad to get some sun and Vitamin Sea!
