Ria Abras
Teacher & Tutor
Ria began her professional journey training as a Midwife at King’s College London, later establishing a successful private clinic supporting women with core and pelvic floor dysfunction.
After nearly a decade of working with women in a more physical and structural capacity, Ria felt compelled to deepen her approach and broaden her impact. This led her to retrain in Advanced Nutritional Therapy with the School of Health, followed by further study in complex health dynamics through the Institute for Functional Medicine in the US.
In addition to her role supporting students at the School of Health, Ria runs a thriving family-based clinical practice in London. She specialises in working with clients navigating chronic and complex health conditions, including mould-related illness, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and autoimmunity.
Having experienced the unique challenges of distance learning and the isolation that can come with independent practice, Ria was inspired to become a Tutor to help guide students through their studies and support their growth into confident, capable practitioners. She is passionate about helping others find clarity, connection, and confidence in their professional path.
Alongside her professional roles, Ria is a busy mum to four young children. She loves spending time out in her garden, playing tennis and connects to joy by attending a weekly adult beginners tap dancing class.

Ria feels we must stay anchored in the understanding that people need us to not only hear their story but to deeply listen. Our job is to hold the space for their story to unfold and to help educate, guide and empower them back to healing. And, above all, to instil in them a belief that there is always, always the possibility for the mind and body to heal when we give it what it needs and then let the innate wisdom do the rest.
