Nicole Schubert-Nicolas 
Teacher & Tutor
 

Nicole is a homeopath with a practice in London and online. She works with adults, teenagers, children and babies, with a particular interest in the different transitions we all go through during our lives. Alongside her private practice and tutoring, Nicole is involved in community health projects in London, working to make complementary approaches to health more accessible to families.

Growing up in Berlin, spending several years in France and bringing up her children in London has given Nicole a distinctly European and multicultural background. She is fluent in German, French and English. 

After finishing her university education, she spent almost five years working on a London trading floor and then became a full-time mother to three children. She later co-founded a fermented drinks business with two friends. Life took her in a few different directions, but her interest in health and holistic approaches kept drawing her back.

Nicole first discovered homeopathy in her twenties, when she was looking for a way to address the underlying causes of her chronic hay fever. A few years later, homeopathy became a trusted companion during pregnancy and family life and in her thirties it supported her through a period of grief that quite literally manifested as physical pain following a loss in her family.

Nicole eventually trained at the School of Homeopathy, completing the four-year Higher Diploma Attendance Course, qualifying in 2020. Having been a student there herself, Nicole feels a strong connection to the School and its approach to learning. She remembers the excitement of discovering homeopathy, the sheer amount there is to learn, and the moments of wondering whether everything would ever begin to make sense!

For Nicole, returning as a tutor feels like the perfect continuation of that journey and a chance to help others begin their own. She particularly looks forward to helping students find their way through the complexity of homeopathy, encouraging them to ask questions, make connections and gradually develop confidence in their own clinical thinking. 

Known for her optimistic outlook and enthusiasm, Nicole remains fascinated by the way apparently unrelated details in a case can come together to reveal a much bigger picture. She loves the detective work involved in homeopathy and the process of looking at a case from different angles. She believes that there is no single way of seeing a case and that becoming a good homeopath involves developing your own way of thinking, while remaining open to the wisdom and experience of those who have gone before us.

She also loves the fact that learning never really stops. Her own practice continues to challenge her, surprise her and send her back to the books. She enjoys the exchange of ideas that happens when others bring their perspectives into the room.

Nicole loves to be physically active and practises pilates, swimming, yoga, qi gong and meditation. She also loves singing, dancing, reading, gardening, watching movies and listening to music. Her personal heroine is Captain Marvel.
