Lifetime Access

Students are given ongoing access to the Online Learning System (OLS) learning resources they have paid for as part of their course. We often refer to this as ‘lifetime access’.

While you are actively studying, or if you take a break with the intention of returning to your course, your learning resources will continue to be released in the normal way as you progress through your studies. You will retain access to all units and modules already released to you.

If you decide to formally withdraw from your course, any remaining units or modules that you have already paid for will be released, giving you ongoing access to the learning resources you purchased.

Lifetime access applies to the learning resources themselves. Student services such as tutor support, assignment marking, tutorials, supervision, live teaching and events, clinics and student groups are available during the relevant active study or support period and do not continue as part of lifetime access.

We intend to keep these resources available to our students for the long term. However, courses, resources and technology naturally develop over time, and we cannot guarantee that a particular resource, format or online platform will remain available indefinitely. We may update, replace, reorganise or withdraw materials where necessary. “Lifetime access” therefore means ongoing access for as long as the School continues to provide and maintain the relevant resources and learning platform; it is not a guarantee of permanent access in every circumstance.
