Students in China

The School of Homeopathy and The School of Health are working with a partner in Hong Kong to bring high quality homeopathy to the Chinese region and to develop a registration process for homeopaths in China, which will in turn ensure they can practice legally. To do this we have entered into a licence agreement with Living Homeopathy. Living Homeopathy are already successfully offering our Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology & Disease, Nutrition and Homeopathy First Aid courses.

As part of the licence agreement, Prof To at Living Homeopathy has completed the full training with us and Living Homeopathy has translated the whole course into Mandarin. They have also translated homeopathy books and developed a Mandarin version of the Radar Opus homeopathic software programme – bringing homeopathy to China is no small task! As part of the registration requirement with the Chinese authorities, Living Homeopathy requested that the courses in be completed through attendance. Therefore the courses we are developing with Living Homeopathy for China are based on our international curriculum but are delivered through attendance only.

Due to the huge amount of work required by Living Homeopathy and the requirements from the Chinese authorities, Prof To (Living Homeopathy) has exclusive rights to run our courses in the Greater China Region (i.e. Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). This means that, although we offer home study courses in other countries, our agreement with Living Homeopathy and the Chinese Government is that no correspondence courses will be offered in the Greater China Region. Therefore, all students from that region are required to take the attendance courses through Living Homeopathy in order to gain Certificates and Diplomas from The School of Homeopathy and/or The School of Health.

This is a great development for homeopathy in China. Using The School of Homeopathy’s world-renowned curriculum and working with Living Homeopathy and the Chinese authorities to ensure a route to legal registration for graduates means homeopathy will flourish in China and patients can be assured of high quality homeopaths.

We appreciate that some students will be disappointed that they cannot do the training direct with us, but when making this agreement we had to consider the bigger picture and what was best for Chinese homeopathy. We are confident that if you study the School of Homeopathy’s course through Living Homeopathy not only will you get high quality training but you will also be assured of a route to registration and a legalised career path as a homeopath.
