We have a full and interesting 5 day Naturopathy event in July with amazing guest speakers which you are welcome to attend as individual taster days so that you can get a feel for the depth and breadth of the naturopathy course. This year we have some ‘one off’ events which are relevant to all of you, regardless of the course you are currently studying.

Choose from the following topics and days:

Monday 7th July: Using Eastern medicine in practice: incorporating, Ayurveda, Chinese five elements, Tibetan and Unani medicine within clinical practice. Learning the basics of Unani pulse diagnosis.
Tuesday 8th July: Iridology practical and Fasting for health lecture: in the morning we will be taking iris photos and working through interpretations within case histories and in the afternoon we have Tallis Barker PhD who is an expert in water fasting. Tallis will explore all types of fasting, from intermittent fasting to 40 day water fasts.
Wednesday 9th July: Chinese Facial diagnosis workshop: we are delighted to have two UK experts in Chinese facial diagnosis who will guide us through the basics of this fascinating discipline and provide us with invaluable tools on how we can incorporate this in everyday clinical practice. This is a ‘one off’ event which wont be repeated so do take advantage of this live workshop and what will be a fascinating and enlightening day.
Thursday 10th July: Traditional herbalism with Sue McCrae ND, Medical Herbalist. Sue has been practicing and teaching herbalism for many years and will cover the traditional way of working with herbs incorporating how the druids and celts used herbs and how we can understand them from a humoral perspective. There is hands on practical work as well including making tinctures, balms, suppositories, snuffs, teas, poultices and more.
Friday 11th July: Hydrotherapy: learn the theory and experience the practice of some of the old naturopathic hydrotherapy techniques. These techniques are extremely effective and useful to use alongside clinical practice.
Cost of individual days is £110. Places are limited so please let the college know if you would like to attend.
